Mel B 'photoshopped' in latest 'Dancing With the Stars' publicity pics

Melbourne, Tue, 03 Apr 2012 ANI

Melbourne, Apr 3 (ANI): A new publicity photo of 'Dancing with the Stars' hostess Mel 'Scary Spice' Brown has sparked allegations that the image has been photoshopped.

The pictures of 36-year-old looking long and lean in a clingy gown seemed at odds with shots of the singer, backlit in an orange skirt, taken at a Sydney beach at the weekend.

In the untouched beach shot, Brown looked lean yet muscular through the legs, particularly in the knees to upper thigh.

However, in the studio shot, for which she posed with host Dan MacPherson, she displays a tiny hourglass figure, no doubt the result of her 15 kg weight loss with Jenny Craig as well as a rigorous workout routine.

Channel 7 confirmed that some retouching had taken place after the photo shoot.

"Yes, the skintone was touched up and we also did a bit of work on the neckline of the dress to make it a bit more G-rated - they were quite out there before - but nothing whatsoever was done to her thighs. As a matter of fact, she was not very demanding about photo approval," news.com.au quoted a spokeswoman for the channel as saying.

Brown, who makes her debut in departed hostess Sonia Kruger's shoes on DWTS on April 15, has had a change of image for the show and is expected to be playing the role of elegant understated offsider. (ANI)
