Imogen Thomas to play herself in Manchester drama 'Shameless'

London, Apr 2 (ANI): Imogen Thomas has landed her first acting role in Manchester drama 'Shameless', where she will play herself.

The 'Big Brother' contestant has won a cameo in the next series, which will hit TV screens in autumn.

Thomas - who famously had an affair with Manchester United footballer Ryan Giggs - filmed the role last week.

The filming took place on the streets on the set of the Chatsworth Estate, home to the Gallagher clan, led by feckless Frank, who is played by David Threlfall.

"Imogen was a natural, you'd never know she had never acted before," the Sun quoted an insider as telling TV Biz.

"She was really down-to-earth and up for anything. She never complained and she didn't mind sending herself up," the source added. (ANI)
