BJP reiterates support on Telangana issue

New Delhi, Mar 27 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday extended its support to the demand of separate Telangana state, saying the government should give clearance to the formation of separate state as soon as possible.

"We are always supporting telangana. This government is responsible for the crises in Telangana. We are in support of telangana. We are supporting them. The announcement of Telangana state should be done as soon as possible," said BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain at a press conference here.

Reacting on the allegations made by Team Anna members on parliamentarians, Hussain said that team Anna members should respect the parliament take caution in selection of words while commenting on parliament.

"We don't have any objection on the spirit of team Anna. They should take care of selection of words while commenting over parliament. Team Anna should respect the parliament from which they are expecting the bill to be passed. BJP has supported the Lokpal bill inside and out of the parliament. Team Anna should not be harsh on the parliament," he added.

Kejriwal had on Sunday released a list of 14 ministers who, he claimed would be facing investigation under charges of corruption if a strong ombudsman bill is passed.e took the names of around 25 politicians, including ministers Sharad Pawar, S.M. Krishna, P.Chidambaram, Praful Patel, Kapil Sibal, Kamal Nath, Farooq Abdullah, Ajit Singh, Sri Prakash Jaiswal, Sushil Kumar Shinde, Vilasrao Deshmukh, M.K. Azhagiri and G.K. Vasan.

"If the Lokpal Bill comes into force, FIRs will be lodged against 14 ministers of the Union Government," he said.

"Who will punish people like them? Delhi Police or the CBI? No one knows because these people will never pass Lokpal Bill," Kejriwal said. (ANI)
