Gavin Henson 'may star alongside Indian child artist' in upcoming rom-com

London, Mar 13 (ANI): Gavin Henson will reportedly be making his movie debut alongside 'Slumdog Millionaire' child star Rubina Ali in the movie 'Lord Owen's Lady' later this year.

The 30-year-old will most probably be lined up alongside Sir Anthony Hopkins in the romantic comedy set to be filmed in India, England and Wales later this year.

The unlikely trio is on the list of names being finalised for the role in romantic comedy, a small budget British film about a young Welsh nobleman who falls in love with an Indian girl.

The former rugby player had hired an acting coach in 2010, soon after his split from Charlotte Church, to improve his likelihood of landing a decent role once he hung up his boots.

"Gavin was approached about Lord Owen's Lady last year and has held a meeting with producers but we haven't heard back from them since then. At this stage he hasn't signed anything," the Daily Mail quoted Matthew Ginvert, his agent as saying.

The 13-year-old actress, who was plucked from obscurity in Mumbai's slums by director Danny Boyle, is in line for a 21,000 pounds payday after agreeing terms for the film.

She admitted she was keen to see if Henson was as good looking in real life as in his pictures.

"I have heard he is a huge star and he is very handsome, so I am really excited to meet him and work with him," she said. (ANI)
