New Delhi, Mar 8 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veteran Lal Krishna Advani on Thursday wished the nation on Holi, and asked citizens of the country to spread the message of unity, peace and harmony.
"I greet everybody on this auspicious occasion of Holi. I believe that this festival is not only unique to India; Holi is also a unique festival in the festivals that is celebrated throughout the world," he said.
Advani also recalled an article that was published in the Hindustan Times a few years ago, where the address of his old residence at Pandara Park was one of the places mentioned for the people to visit during Holi.
Holi, a religious spring festival, is also known as festival of Colours. People from all walks of life, irrespective of their colour, caste, creed or religion, come together to celebrate this coulourful festival. (ANI)
