Washington, Mar 3 (ANI): Gwyneth Paltrow has admitted to taking fashion advice from her seven-year-old daughter Apple.
The 39-year-old actress, who topped the best-dressed lists with her Tom Ford cape dress at Sunday night's Oscars, has confessed to taking Apple's opinion seriously when it comes to dressing for the red carpet.
"My daughter loves a fashion moment. She weighs in very heavily," Contactmusic quoted her as telling American talk show 'The Chew'.
Talking about the unusual gown choice, 'Country Strong' star, who also has son Moses, five, with her 'Coldplay' frontman husband Chris Martin, says she was inspired by a similar outfit worn by America's former First Lady, Jackie Onassis.
"I tried on one dress. That was the dress and I thought, 'it's a little different but it's sort of a throwback'," she said.
"I saw a pic of Jackie O in a white dress with a cape and it's been a while since anyone's worn a cape, frankly, except for Superman," she added. (ANI)
