London, Mar 3(ANI): Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has backed Tottenham Spurs' manager Harry Redknapp as a worthy successor of Fabio Capello as manager of the England national team.
"If I was the geezer in the suit upstairs making the decision, I would go and get Harry, without a doubt. When you play for him, he makes you feel like a million dollars," The Sun quoted Ferdinand, as saying.
Ferdinand, whose United side visit Redknapp's Spurs for the big Premier League clash on Sunday, believes his old manager has all theualities England are looking for.
If Redknapp decides to leave Spurs, then Swansea chief Brendan Rodgers, Everton's David Moyes and Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho are in contention to replace him. (ANI)
