US jets enter Pak air space in North Waziristan

Islamabad, Mar 1(ANI): American fighters jets breached Pakistan's air space near the tribal area of Loda Mandi, North Waziristan Agency on Wednesday.

An eyewitness said the planes entered Pakistan's airspace at 4:15 pm and flew over the Pakistani territory for at least fifteen minutes, The Daily Times reports.

The latest infringement took place at critical stage when US-Pak ties are under tremendous pressure after the tragic incident of an aerial blitz at the Salala border post in Mohamand Agency last year, which killed 24 Pakistani soldiers.

Bilateral relations between the two allies have reached their lowest point after the Pakistan Government blocked supply lines to NATO forces deployed in Afghanistan. (ANI)
