Jennifer Aniston broke down at animal rescue centre

Washington, Feb 27 (ANI): Jennifer Aniston has admitted that she broke down in tears during a visit to an animal rescue centre, as she wanted to adopt more than one puppy.

The former Friends star and her boyfriend Justin Theroux went to a shelter to pick out a new dog, but the actress became emotional when it came to choosing just one new pet.

The couple eventually decided to take home a three-month-old Boxer-Pitbull-mix puppy, and Aniston named her Sophie after comparing her experience at the rescue centre to Meryl Streep's haunting 1982 movie Sophie's Choice.

"We ran over (to the shelter). Sophie came right up to us... and then we were there for three hours! I was almost walking out with three puppies. That's why we named her Sophie cause it was Sophie's Choice. I was crying, it was so hard," the Daily Express quoted her as teeling America's 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno'. (ANI)
