Dwayne Johnson may join Brett Ratner for Hercules

Washington, Feb 25 (ANI): Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is in talks to star in 'Hercules', which is to be directed by Brett Ratner.

The 'Tooth Fairy' star is now in negotiations to take on the title role in the movie, which will be based on Steve Moore and Cris Bolsin's miniseries 'Hercules: The Thracian Wars', Contactmusic reported.

The film tells the story of Greek hero Hercules who has turned his back on the Olympian gods and can only find solace fighting in battle alongside his six companions.

The Thracian king then summons Hercules and his pals and tasks them with getting his army into proper fighting shape.

Lured by the thought of gold and glory, he readily agrees, but soon comes to realise how far he's fallen from grace and thinks of things that he might need to do to find some redemption. (ANI)
