Imphal, Feb 24 (ANI): Imphal Police recently rescued a migrant labourer from Imphal East and gunned down one abductor.
The rescued labourer was identified as Surya Narayan Yadav from Bihar. He was abducted on the pretext of being given work and a ransom of Rs 1,30,000 was demanded for his release.
Police raided Imphal's Keibi area and rescued the labourer. They also recovered a pistol and a Chinese grenade. (ANI)
