Thiruvananthapuram, Feb.22 (ANI): The Kerala High Court on Wednesday said that Italian ship Enrica Lexie could leave Kochi Port after paying Rs 25 lakh as guarantee.
The ship's crew had killed two Indian fishermen near Kochi port last week.
The high court said the ship could leave only after probing agencies gave it clearance.
Italy, however, has demanded a joint probe into the killing of the fishermen, reiterating that the incident occurred in international waters. (ANI)
