London, Feb 18 (ANI): Peter Crouch has revealed that he will be wearing earplugs for his match with Crawley Town on Sunday.
The 31-year-old Stoke striker admitted the thought of stepping out at Crawley's 5,000-capacity Broadfield Stadium is quite daunting.
"Yep, I think the earplugs will definitely be called for," the Daily Star quoted Crouch as saying.
"When there are 40,000 people you can block it out, but you feel it a lot more acutely when there are fewer people there.
"I have played in some hostile atmospheres all over the world but I think the worst ones are when there are fewer people in the smaller grounds and you can hear every word," he added. (ANI)
