Amitabh Bachchan to undergo abdominal surgery at Mumbai's Seven Hills Hospital

Mumbai, Feb.11 (ANI): Film star Amitabh Bachchan is likely to have an abdominal surgery at Mumbai's Seven Hills Hospital on Saturday.

The actor revealed in his blog that he had undergone a CT scan on Friday, but did not reveal the hospital where he would be treated.

Bachchan has had a history of stomach ailments, and he has said that the surgery will take place this morning.

He reportedly thanked his well wishers and fans ahead of the surgery early this morning.

"I wish to thank all those that have most graciously sent in their concern and greetings for a speedy recovery. Your prayers shall go a long way in bringing me back to normal and for this I am always eternally grateful," he wrote in his blog. (ANI)
