Mumbai, Feb 5 (ANI): Janata Party President and petitioner in the 2G spectrum allocation scam, Subramanium Swamy said the that the order passed by Justice Saini in the special CBI court is not a settled law.
Speaking to mediapersons here today Swamy said: "The order passed by Justice Saini in the special CBI court is not settled law. It is so only after higher court pronounces it. Even in my earlier attempts on 2G when I asked for cancellation of licenses and also in the question of sanctions my petitions in the Delhi High Court were dismissed but the Supreme Court had reversed the order."
Swamy further said that after reading the special CBI court order he found some disconnection in the judgment.
"I have read the order of Judge Saini and I find some disconnect in the judgment because first sixty paragraphs, in effect, support my contention, that Chidambaram is deserving of making a co-accused, it is the last three paragraphs were he has made a bland order saying that I (judge) have not made out the criminality even though he says that it is established that Raja and Chidambaram together decided the spectrum price to be based on 2001 rate," said Swamy.
Swamy was reacting after a Delhi court on Saturday dismissed his petition to make Union Home Minister P Chidambaram a co-accused in the case.
Although Swamy has said that he will appeal in the higher court against the order.
The Supreme Court had earlier directed a lower trial court to decide on whether Chidambaram should be probed in the 2G scam. (ANI)
