'Committed' Aisam-ul Haq says 'he may never team up again with Bopanna'

Karachi, Wed, 01 Feb 2012 ANI

Karachi, Feb 1(ANI): Pakistan's tennis ace Aisam-ul Haq Qureshi has said he may never team up with his Indian counterpart Rohan Bopanna for doubles again if his partnership with Jean-Julien Rojer yields desired results.

"I may continue with Rojer for a longer period. This year I'm committed to Rojer and if we produce good results, I may not consider the possibility of reuniting with Bopanna," The Express Tribune quoted Aisam ul Haq, as saying.

Aisam and Rojer were ousted in the third round of the Australian Open doubles.

But Aisam said they would take time to get into rhythm.

The popular duo of Aisam and Bopanna split last year after the latter teamed up with Mahesh Bhupati to prepare for the 2012 London Olympics. (ANI)
