Mohsin eyeing Pak 3-0 whitewash of England at Dubai

Dubai, Mon, 30 Jan 2012 ANI

Dubai, Jan 30(ANI): Pakistan coach Mohsin Khan has warned that his side will go all out to win the final Test against England in Dubai.

"England are tough opponents. They came back strongly after losing the first Test and we're expecting the same in the final match. We will have to work very hard to win. It will be tough but possible," The Express Tribune quoted Mohsin, as saying

But he expressed confidence that the team is capable of winning the ongoing Test series 3-0 against England.

"Every team would want to make it 3-0 from this position. Obviously, we would like that scoreline. A whitewash against the top team will be a huge confidence booster in our bid to become the best in the world," he added.

His statement comes after Pakistan secured an unassailable 2-0 lead in the Test series against England in the UAE.

He also hinted that changes for the final match 'would not be 'at the cost of team balance'.

He said the pitch conditions were difficult and the relatively inexperienced batting line-up performed well dispelling criticism that 257 and 214 team scores in the second Test were worrying signs.Apart from Misbahul Haq and Younus [Khan], we have a relatively inexperienced lineup and their performance under the circumstances was commendable."

Meanwhile, England coach Andy Flower called on his team to prove their mettle in the upcoming series in the subcontinent. (ANI)
