Absence of net bowlers hits Team India's preparations ahead of Adelaide Test

Adelaide, Fri, 20 Jan 2012 ANI

Adelaide, Jan 20(ANI): Team India has been forced to reschedule their training session due to non- availability of net bowlers on January 21.

India will take a break on Saturday due to the shortage of net bowlers in the wake of grade cricket tournaments in Adelaide.

"Tomorrow there is some tournament going on so the good bowlers are not available," The Herald Sun quoted an Indian team spokesman, as saying.

The development deals a severe blow to Team India's preparations, having already lost three consecutive Tests on the current tour.

The team had trained for over three hours on Friday after former skipper Sunil Gavaskar had blasted the team for not practicing enough at the nets. (ANI)
