Two cargo ships collide in Hooghly River

Haldia (West Bengal), Nov 23 (ANI): Two cargo ships, both coming from opposite directions, collided on Tuesday in the Hooghly River.

 

The collision between the two ships-Green Valley and Tiger Singh occurred at the confluence of the Hooghly and Rupnarayan Rivers near Nurpur.

 

One of the ships is badly damaged and is sinking.

 

No casualties were reported. (ANI)
