Nov 05: If you are fed up with sending greetings of the same kinds with lights and lamps on Diwali then there is something new to try. www.indiavideo.org has introduced a new idea this festival of online video greetings for Diwali.

The novelty of the concept is that these video greetings contain the exclusive clippings on various subjects, classical dances of India, natural sceneries of mountains, rivers, beaches, land and people, historical places, festivals, folk arts, performing arts and yoga. This is not all music video clips like Tulsidas Bhajan, Meera Bhajan, Karnatic and Baul will also be added soon.

This is the first time that an initiative for online video greetings service has been taken by any website. The same idea was also adopted during the biggest festival of Kerela ‘Onam’ and ‘Ramadan’.

This online video- encyclopaedia of India is maintained by the Invis Multimedia in association with the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), New Delhi office.

Kerala.indiavideo.org is also a microsite of indiavideo which contains the video clips of Kerala. This is an initiative first of its kind in India in which the video clips are added on daily basis to provide the user an opportunity to have a glimpse of different things of Kerala, such as people of that land, culture, nature and arts etc. it just presents an unexplored world online.

India video contains clips of culture, nature, life and other things from different states of India. With the visual clips one also gets the information about the content clip displays.

The site also has plans to introduce such video greetings for Christmas and New Year too. This means that a lot new feast is in reserve for coming festivals.
