Pushkar (Rajasthan), Dec.3 (ANI): David Coleman Headley, the US citizen now detained on charges of having links with Lashkar-e-Toiba, the terrorist outfit of Pakistan, visited Pushkar, the tourist town in Rajasthan, in March 2009.

Kailash, the owner of Oasis Hotel in Pushkar, confirmed this on Thursday that a US citizen by that name had stayed in his hotel for two days.

"There is entry in our register in the name of David Coleman Headley. He also filled C-form (a mandatory form to be filled by foreigners while checking into a hotel). He checked into the hotel on March 11, 2009 and checked out on March 13. He stayed with us for two days," said Kailash.

Headley, born to Pakistani father and American mother, was detained at the Chicago airport by the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) on October 3.
