35 killed as bus falls in Chambal River

Bhopal, June 1 (ANI): At least 35 people were killed and 10 injured when a private bus carrying them fell in Chambal River from a bridge connecting Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in Dholpur district.

 

The bus fell into Chambal river from Rajghat bridge after breaking its railing from a height of around 500 feet

 

Dholpur Collector Pooran Chand Kishan said that 27 bodies were sent to Murena and eight to Dholpur hospital.

 

Two serious cases were referred to the Sawai Man Singh Hospital, while six of the injured were admitted to the Dholpur hospital. (ANI)
