Surajkund Mela Faridabad has become famous worldwide for its ethnic yet dazzling display of mesmerizing arts and crafts from the region and country made by the artists and craftsmen famous and unknown. This fair provide platform to artists to showcase their work who find it hard to market their products. Surajkund Mela Faridabad 2012 will see some changes. This year attention is being placed on social hygiene. For this all efforts are made to keep the Mela area clean and garbage free. For this, use of polythene and polybags are being discouraged. To keep it eco-friendly electronic toilets have also been installed by authorities that can be used by placing a coin.

Besides arts and crafts this mela has something more to offer, as it is also a food lovers delight. Here the guest can savor a large number of lip smacking delicacies that adds to the joie-de vivre of the Surajkund Crafts Mela 2012.
