The Surajkund Crafts Mela 2012 to be started from 1 to 15 feb, is all set to entertain the art and craft lovers across the country which is likely to be more promising this year with the participation of 11 foreign countries including one SAARC nation too. From fashion shows, theatre, folk music and dances to a musical band performance on Valentine's Day, this years Mela looks to be a great showcase along with lots of entertainment. While charting out your day at the mela, you can also watch out for various cultural performances at the Natyashala daily from 5.30 pm onwards. The folk lovers must visit to the Chaupal at 7.30 pm, as there is lot more for them this year. There will be more than 400 folk artists to perform at the Chaupal everyday evening. Among them 100 artists will be from Assam alone as Aasam is the state of theme this time. The schedule for each day has been provided below for your reference:
