Newly appointed Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Shri V S Sampath has said that curbing use of money will be among his topmost priorities. Mr. Sampath is a 1973 batch Andhra Pradesh cadre officer. Before his appointment as CEC, he has served in various capacities including Secretary in Ministry of Power and Secretary, Chemicals and Petrochemicals. He has served various posts with distinction.
