Tamil Nadu Assembly unveils portrait of former CM Jayalalithaa’s
Chennai (TN), Feb 12 (ANI): Assembly by speaker P. Dhanapal on Monday. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K. Palaniswami presided over the function in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam in the assembly. Jayalalithaa served six terms as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu from 1991 to 2016. She died on Dec 5, 2016 in Apollo Hospital Chennai due to cardiac arrest.
