Religious fundamentalism is challenge of modern age: Col Jaibans Singh
Jaipur (Rajasthan), Sep 03 (ANI): The third day of the Jaipur Youth Festival (JYF) witnessed nine sessions with eminent personalities from different fields. Among various personalities, who attended the event was defence expert Col Jaibans Singh. He held forth the view that conflict in the name of religion has been happening since millenniums and continues to do so. Speaking at the session, he said, “There is no such fundamentalism in India which is very dangerous.The present concept of religious fundamentalism is an offshoot of this millenniums old civilisation norm. It is the challenge of the modern age which needs to be addressed more by the civil society than any government or security force.”
