Northern States to set up common secretariat to clamp down on drug menace
Chandigarh, Aug 20 (ANI): Chief Ministers of Northern Indian states have decided unanimously to clamp down on drug menace in the neighboring states by setting up common secretariat in Panchkula . The announcement was made by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar after a meeting held between Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat and Himachal Pradesh CM Jai Ram Thakur. "We have decided to come up with strategies to deal with the raging problem. We will set up a common secretariat in Panchkula, every state will appoint one nodal office for this”, said Haryana CM Khattar while addressing media.
