Hindus and Muslims run jewellery shops near Jama Masjid
Rampur, July 09 (ANI): India, the land of many cultures exemplifies communal harmony in many different ways. One such example is in Rampur district in northern Uttar Pradesh state where many jewellry shops owned by Hindus and Muslims line the Jama Masjid (mosque). The mosque was built by Nawab Kalb Ali Khan before British colonial rule. The shops were rented out to businessmen to meet the mosque's requirements. Hindus and Muslims own these shops and customers belong to both communities.
