Kolkata, Dec.7 (ANI): A Brazil all star soccer team, led by their former World Cup winning captain Carlos Dunga, arrived in Kolkata on Friday to play a friendly against a team assembled by the Indian Football Association (IFA).
2002 World Cup winner and former Real Madrid star, Roberto Carlos would also be part of the Brazilian XI scheduled to play on December 8 at the Salt Lake Stadium in the city.
Dunga led his team of stars outside the airport and was greeted by a wave of fans, waiting to catch a glimpse of the former greats.
The Brazilian all star team comprises of Bebeto, Dunga, Mauro Silva, Paulo Sergio, Zinho, Aldair, Zetti, Roberto Carlos, Juninho Paulista and Edmilson, Caio Felipe and Nilton Cesar
This would be the second time in two years that the city of Kolkata would host international talent after Lionel Messi and his Argentina team thrilled soccer fans on September 02, 2011 for an international friendly against Venezuela. (ANI)
