NAGALAND PEOPLES FRONT

Nagaland Peoples Front is a regional political party in Nagaland, northeastern state of India. It was in the administration of the state from 2003 to 2008 in coalition with Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of Great politician and orator Neiphiu Rio, the president of the Nagaland Peoples Front. In 2004 Nagaland Democratic party merged with NPF thus giving birth to a big influential party with a great popularity. Though it is in link and tie up with BJP in state government, NPF is in link neither with BJP or Congress in the formation of national government.

The chief aims and objectives of the party are to restore the Naga society and its integrity and sovereignty among all the other people. To bring a particular identity to the Naga people to make them distinguished to others. To fight and work hard for the electoral and political reformation in the state basically among the people of Naga sect. To bring about political as well as economic development in this sect. To make the life and survival of Nagas full of prosperity and luxury rooting out every form of corruption and immorality and disturbance. To unite and integrate all the disjointed members of Naga clan in order to preserve their genetic similarity and sovereignty. Ultimately providing a better administration to the people is the great goal of Nagaland Peoples Front.
