World's largest and tallest Indian flag unfurled in Faridabad

Faridabad, Mar 3 (ANI): The largest and tallest Indian national flag was unfurled on Tuesday by BJP President Amit Shah at Town Park in Faridabad. Along with Shah, Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar and Bollywood Actor Ranbir Kapoor were also present on the occasion. Ministers of the state cabinet were also in attendance. The venue gave a brilliant patriotic feeling as the place echoed the sound of 'Vande Mataram' with the release of tricolored balloons amidst the unfurling of the national flag. Shah, meanwhile, congratulated the 'Nav Chetna Trust' for organizing the event. The flag weighs 48 kilograms and has a 96 feet by 64 feet dimension. It was hoisted at a height of 250 feet (75 meters), making it the largest and the highest hoisted Indian flag in the world. Another such flag is located at the Central Park in the heart of New Delhi.
