Women campaign in Varanasi to spread voter awareness
Varanasi, April 16 (ANI): Women campaigned in Varanasi to create awareness among the masses to exercise their franchise as the world's largest democracy goes to polls. With an aim to make people aware of the value of their one vote in the elections of the world's biggest democracy, participants were seen shouting slogans enthusiastically. Meanwhile, another participant, Balram Sharma, appealed to the voters to cast their vote on 12th May when the city goes to polls. The elections to choose members to the 543-seat Lok Sabha, are spread over five weeks in nine separate phases and will end on May 12. Results would be announced on May 16.
