Welcome to the Getty Images Week in Review. Here’s what’s been happening with
your favorite celebs this week.
Hollywood is in mourning following the sudden and shocking death of beloved actor
Robin Williams – who committed suicide at the age of 63 after suffering from
severe depression. Robin leaves behind his wife and three children.
Dozens of co-stars and famous fans took to social media to express their grief.
Even President Barack Obama paid tribute – saying in a statement “He arrived in
our lives as an alien - but he ended up touching every element of the human
spirit”.
Jackie Chan shared some memories of the beloved actor at the London photocall for
“Chinese Zodiac”.

The Julliard trained actor was known for both his comedic and dramatic roles –
having appeared in over 100 movies and TV shows including “Mork and Mindy” “Good
Morning Vietnam”, “Dead Poets Society” and “Mrs. Doubtfire” to name just a few.
When asked about his own personal favorites, he had this to say.
