Watch: Temporary bridge facilitates evacuation of villagers post Indian strike into PoK
Gurdaspur, Punjab, Sep 30 (ANI): As the Centre has ordered shifting of borderline areas residents in Punjab to safer areas, the state administration has built a temporary bridge to facilitate the movement of villagers on Ravi river. The villagers are being evacuated through creaky wooden bridge built over the Ravi river in Punjab's Dera Baba Nanak area. The government has ordered shifting of villagers residing in Punjab's border areas to safer regions after the Indian Army conducted a surgical strike at the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday night.
