Veterans condemn Jaitley's statement, says their demand not unreasonable

New Delhi, Sep 01 (ANI): The protest by ex-servicemen demanding One Rank One Pension (OROP) went on for the 79th day on Tuesday, even after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley ruled out annual pension revision for One Rank One Pension (OROP) protestors, but assured that Centre would safeguard the interest of the defence personnel retiring at an early age. Ex-serviceman said that their demand is not unreasonable and that the hunger strike will continue till their demands are fulfilled. One Rank, One Pension (OROP) scheme has been a long-standing demand of nearly three-million ex-servicemen and war widows in the country.
