US woman alleges rape in Vrindavan
Mathura, Mar 05 (ANI): A woman from California in USA allegedly became victim to harassment and sexual assault in Mathura. The 43-year-old lady had disappeared from her rented room in Vrindavan soon after she arrived on 27 February and was found lying unconscious in the Kotwali area on 3rd March. She had no recollection of how she got there but when admitted in the hospital, she began alleging that she had been raped by a sadhu. The injured lady was immediately taken to the district hospital for medical tests and the information was passed on to the US embassy. Police say that there was no confirmation of rape yet
