Two arrested in Surat's Rs 20 cr diamond loot case
Surat (Gujarat), Mar 18 (ANI): Crime branch arrested two persons on Saturday for their alleged involvement in the robbery of diamonds worth Rs 20 crore from Katargam in Surat on March 14. The looted diamonds were recovered by police. Police arrested Arjun alias Arvind Santnarayan Pande and Manvendra alias Manish Krishnakumar Thakur- both of Uttar Pradesh. The diamonds were looted on road when employees of a diamond polishing unit were going to deposit the diamonds in a private safe deposit vault. The whole incident was captured in CCTV footage. Police reached the spot immediately after getting the information of loot.
