Two NDFP militants neutralised
Kokrajhar, Assam, Dec 10 (ANI): The Assam police on Saturday neutralised two NDFB (Songbijit) militants in an encounter with a joint team of the state police and army in the forest area of Assam's Kokrajhar district. Acting on a tip-off, the Assam police personnel, along with troops of Rajput Regiment, launched an operation in the Kochugaon reserve forest at Oksiguri area in the early hours. An AK-56 rifle, 21 rounds of live ammunition, one 7.6 mm pistol and one magazine containing three rounds live ammunition, cash worth Rs 6,000 in new Rs 2000 notes, four bycycles and some ration items were seized from their possession.
