this week we take you to Dharmsala. Lying in the upper reaches of the Kangra Valley in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh is Dharamasala. Founded in 1855, it is one of the 80 hill resorts developed in the seventeenth century by the British. Set against the backdrop of the magnificent Dhauladhar ranges of the Himalayas Dharamshala, which literally means the holy refuge, makes for a perfect calm, serene and relaxed holiday.
