Traffic police personnel in Delhi perform yoga for stress free life

New Delhi, July 04 (ANI): At least 100 traffic police personnel rolled out yoga mats in national capital New Delhi on Saturday to perform various aasanas or postures with an aim to stay fit and lead stress free life. The police officials gathered at Todapur area of New Delhi and kicked off their day with physical poses and breathing control as they participated in the ancient Indian discipline. Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Rishi said yoga would primarily help the police personnel control their anger. On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led tens of thousands of people in a yoga session at Rajpath, a ceremonial boulevard in New Delhi. The United Nations declared June 21 the first International Day of Yoga after adopting a measure proposed by the Modi government.
