Timbuktu ready to forgive as jihadist faces justice
Malian jihadist Ahmad al-Faqi al-Mahdi is to be sentenced at the International Criminal Court after pleading guilty to the war crime of destroying shrines at the UNESCO world heritage site of Timbuktu.
