Three-year-old archer sets national record in Andhra Pradesh

Vijayawada, March 27 (ANI): A three-year-old girl from Andhra Pradesh has set a new record in archery and entered India Book of Records. Cherukuri Dolly Sivani from Vijayawada has become the youngest archer to enter India Book of Records by scoring 388 points from two distances, seven and five meters. Sivani, the sister of late Indian archery coach Cherukuri Lenin, who died in a road accident in 2010, set this record in the presence of judges from India Book of Records and the Archery Association of India (AAI). Special arrows were made for Sivani out of carbon when she was first learning the sport to ensure she could carry them. India Book of Records rewarded Sivani with a medal and a certificate for her feat.
