The Indian Super League, the first of its kind in India was launched amid much fanfare in Mumbai last evening. The glamourous event saw the league being launched in the presence of star-studded team owners Sachin Tendulkar, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, and brand ambassador Varun Dhawan. The founding Chairperson of Football Sports Development (FSD) Nita Ambani who owns the ISL thanked the team owners for coming forward and supporting the game.
