Stock markets fall more than 500 points on weak global cues
Mumbai/ New Delhi, Sep 04 (ANI): India's stock markets fell over 500 points on Friday, giving up gains from the previous session on weak global cues and caution ahead of a decisive US jobs report due later in the day. The benchmark Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex was down 1.65 percent at 11:27 a.m. (0557 GMT) after falling as much as 2.21 percent to 25,193.41 earlier in the session. The broader Nifty fell 1.75 percent after losing as much as 2.34 percent. Market Expert Sunil Shah said market needs a trigger as the government has failed to implement its economic agenda. Another Expert Akash Jindal said market was nervous due to problems is China.
