Sonia Gandhi meets farmers affected by rains in Rae Bareli
Rae Bareli, March 28 (ANI): Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Saturday visited her Lok Sabha constituency, Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh and met farmers hit by the unseasonal rains and hailstorms this season. The Congress president took stock of the losses to the crops and met the affected farmers and their families. Sonia had earlier met farmers of Khandwa village in Haryana's Bhiwani District, who were facing similar issues. Gandhi is next scheduled to visit Amethi and meet the affected farmers there. Following the same, she is also likely to meet the victims of the Bachhrawan train accident today.
