Singapore's transformation in one generation is a tribute to Lee’s leadership: PM Modi
Singapore, March 29 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday condoled the passing away of Singapore's founding father Lee Kuan Yew. Speaking at Lee’s funeral, PM Modi said that Singapore's transformation in one generation is a tribute to Lee’s leadership. He added that Lee Kuan Yew was personally a source of inspiration for him and that India deeply valued Lee’s friendship and support. Yew, who transformed the tiny island outpost into one of the wealthiest and least corrupt countries in Asia, died on March 24. He was 91 years old.
