Sex workers conference in Kolkata
Kolkata, July 22 (ANI): Sex workers from over 41 countries, who were denied permission to attend the U.S.A International AIDS Conference, staged a parallel conference in Kolkata. The conference which commenced on July 21 will continue through July 27, parallel to the dates of the one in the U.S. The Global Coordinator of the Global Network of Sex Work Projects (NSWP), Ruth Morgan Thomas, said that by not allowing the sex workers at the conference, U.S. has been hypocritical.
