Sensex, Nifty open at record high for 1st time ever
Mumbai, Aug 20 (ANI): The market on Monday saw a significant high as the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex crossed the 38,170.07 mark, while Nifty reclaimed the 11,527.80 mark. The sharp up move in Larsen and Toubro (LandT), HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, HDFC, HUL and State Bank of India (SBI) shares led the key equity indices to record high in the opening session with LandT, HDFC Bank and RIL emerging as the biggest positive points contributors.
