Sarabjit s kin shocked at confusion created by Pak over his release
Jalandhar, June 27 (ANI): Family members of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian prisoner in Pakistan, expressed shock at the confusion created by the Pakistan government, after reports emerged that the authorities had decided to release him. Hours after reports surfaced on Tuesday that Pakistan was going to free Sarabjit, the presidential spokesman clarified that authorities had taken steps for the release of another Indian prisoner named Surjeet Singh, and not Sarabjit. Earlier yesterday, Pakistani media had reported that President Asif Ali Zardari has converted Sarabjit's death sentence to life term, which he has already completed having been in jail for almost 21 years. Therefore, reports emerged in media that he was being released.
